Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: I have an iPad and cannot find the Bank of the West app. Where is it?A: The app is available on the iPad, however there is one additional step required to locate it. In the App Store, after you search for the App you need to choose “Filters” and then “iPhone only.” At that point you should see our App available for download. Q: I cannot find the App in the Google Play Store. Why?A: Unfortunately not all Android Phones are supported. The following phones do not currently support the app:

Where is it?A: The funds availability of the deposit is based on the date/time when you deposit the check. Checks deposited before 3pm CST M-Th are generally available the following business day. Checks deposited after 3pm CST M-Th are generally available the second business day. If the check is deposited between 3pm CST Friday and 12am Sunday then the funds will not be available until Tuesday. Please be sure to endorse all checks with “For Mobile Deposit Only” and with your signature to prevent additional delays. Q: Does the mobile App work with my business account?A: Yes, for our business customers, we offer a separate business App in the App store called “BankWestBIZ”, or you may search for “Bank of the West BIZ”. User name and password will be the same as your eCorp log in. If you do not know your eCorp log in information please contact the bank at 1.877.310.3511 (toll free) or 817.310.1999. Below is an image of our App: Q: What is Same Day ACH?A: The National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) has adopted a rule to provide a new capability for moving ACH payments faster. The rule enables the same day processing of most ACH payments. Currently, most ACH payments are settled on the next business day. This changed with the ability for eligible credit files to be settled the Same Day starting September 23, 2016. ACH debit files will be eligible to settle as Same Day transactions starting September 15, 2017, Additional changes related to Same Day processing are outlined below. Q: What types of ACH payments are eligible for same day processing?A: According to NACHA, 99% of ACH transactions are eligible for same‐day processing. Only international transactions (IATs) and transactions above $25,000 are not eligible.
